SES Tutoring Program
Under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, Title 1 schools
who have not made adequate yearly progress (AYP) for
at least three consecutive years become eligible for
Supplemental Educational Services (SES) Tutoring. The
SES Tutoring is free to students at these schools who
qualify for the Free and Reduced Lunch Program.
SES Tutoring is paid for by the school
districts and provides tutoring in reading, math and
language arts. The tutoring usually takes place at the
student’s school outside of the regular school
hours. Total Tutoring does offer in-home tutoring in
Washoe County. In Clark County, it is only offered at
local libraries or in the home.
Total Tutoring Services has been a Nevada State Approved
SES Provider for the past eight years, and an Idaho
